I have the small reworked copy PS2, or slim version (whichever individuals prefer). It still works but it's not reading the disk I put in. It's not the games. I know this for a certainty because it's every game, and I tried them on my sister's boyfriend's PS2 and they worked fine. So what can I do to fix this. A disk lens cleaner or dvd cleaner isn't going to assistance because it's not reading the cd. We tried it. We need another substitute. I know for the bigger PS2, you can take them apart and fix them. Can I do that near the small PS2? If so how? And can you tell me what to do to fix it? Is in attendance a website the tells hoe to fix the small PS2? Can someone bestow it to me cause I search all over and couldn't find anything. Maybe I overlooked something. I want serious help. I don't want to throw it away and buying a contemporary one seems pointless to me since I will probably be buying a PS3 sometime subsequent year. But I want my PS2 in the meantime to play. No rude or stupid comments.
Answers: If you enjoy a disk read error on your playstation 2 console buy a dvd lens cleaning kit for lower than 12 dollars. Insert the cleaning disk cd into the ps2 system and let it verbs. It may take one or two cleanings to fully work. Then verbs once a month by repeating the above steps.
