when we change games on the wii, it does not recognize either remote. the blue lights flash and nothing happens. we have changed the batteries and re-synced them both and the lights still flash. we purchased the system 10 days ago and it has worked fine until today. any suggestions??

Just unplug the wii and put it i again withing 10 seconds

It sounds like you have done everything that you should have done by resynching them and changing the batteries. My best recommendation is to contact Wii customer service and try to get this taken care of. Silly ? for you though, when you resynch them, do you just do the wii-mote or do you do both the system and the wii mote.
Try also pushing the 1 2 button at the same time.
