Xbox live and using internet at indistinguishable time? (Xbox 360)?

So, I have a cable modem and a wireless router.
If I hold 2 ethernet cables, one that newly makes the internet work on the notebook which is plugged in the router and surrounded by the back of the notebook, and use the other cable to plug one end within the xbox 360 and the other end surrounded by one of the extra ports in the wireless router, will that clear xbox live and the internet work at the same time? E-mail me if you necessitate more info :)


Answers:    Yep... it does for me anyway and my setup's the same as yours. :)
it should work at duplicate time. i have run 2 xbox's and a computer rotten of the same router
