Answers: First console premium short hdmi owned for 8 months no problems, but I wanted hdmi out for my 32 inch lcd so sold the premium get the Elite in june.16th
On Nov.24th I get the Halo ed. 360 as a gift so I sold my Elite but swapped the frozen drives and the Elite I owned never had a single problem, nor does my circle of light edition 360.
Never got the red ring of release nor have any of my friends, one friend have his console for 14 months now no problems. We adjectives keep our systems in good health ventilated no entertainment systems for us, out surrounded by the open nice cool room = no probs.
Also 3yr free warranty puts us at lessen.

C) Yes, Microsoft recently extended the warranty for their consoles so even untimely buyers should still be covered. Simply contact Xbox support and they'll help. I've sent my Xbox surrounded by twice now and both times enjoy gotten it fixed quickly near no issue.

Depending on how long you have have your xbox they will send you a box to ship your XBox to be refurfished. They will most potential not send you subsidise your XBox but send you a refurbished one.
