With the 40GB PS3, its Region B encoded blu-ray, but are the PS3 games encoded?

If I was to buy games from America would they work next to my PS3 as it is brought from Australia? Thanks.

Answers:    ^ PS3 games are not region coded.

However, PS2 games are, and they will not work (just to clarify).
Movies are region-coded. So you would only know how to play American DVDs and Blu Ray movies.

Games, as of right now, are not region-coded. So games will work anywhere.
