40 GB PS3 backing?

Is it true that the 40 GB PS3 can overheat easily? And are the graphics on the 40 Gb and 80 GB PS3 impossible to tell apart, and do they have indistinguishable processor and same speed and everything like that? I know that it doesnt own flash cards readers and doesnt support SACD but wuts the concrete big difference ? so is a 40 Gb PS3 a good system to buy? thnx alot, i would really appreciate it!!


Answers:    I give attention to a 40 GB PS3 is a great system to buy, I am getting one aswell, the real big difference is as u said, flash card reader, PS2 backwads compability and the 40 GB PS3 has 2 USB ports unlike the 80Gb which have 4!! If you dont have a PS2 and you wanna play your PS2 games on your PS3, next the 40 GB PS3 is not good for u, but If you dont wanna play your PS2 games on PS3 and u dont protection about the 2 usb ports and dont assistance about the flash card reader, then the 40GB model is superlative for u, its got everything impossible to tell apart as 80 Gb, same graphics, same processor, same Wi-Fi, u know the whole free Wi-Fi and everything else is equal excpet for the ones I mentioned above, and about the PS3 overheating, you probably hear that from an Xbox 360 fanboy, the PS3 doesnt overheat, unless u play it for weeks, non-stop, and specially the 40 GB PS3, xony announced that its cooler, and is wuiter and in the most up-to-date version, and have 0.5% of chance of overheating, so a PS3 (40GB) is a really moral gamesystem!!
The versions hold the same processor, same graphics, etc. The merely difference is that the 80 gb has the PS2's GPU so it can play PS2 games via software emulation while the 40 gb can't play PS2 games.

The 40 gb is a upright system to buy if you don't plan on playing PS2 games on the PS3. But the 80 gb is the better deal because for 100 bucks more, you bring 3 flash drives, 2 additional USB ports, Motorstorm, and 40 extra gb.

*May be capable of play PS1 Games
*Has no memory card readers(80 GB does)
*Overheats easily
*Only have 2 USB Ports(80 GB has 4)

Go with the 80GB PS3, unless you dont hold enough money
The 40GB purely lacks PS2 Backwards Compatibility and media reader capability ! Other than that, it's just close to the other PS3s' !
Any systen will overheat if you played it non-stop for hours on end ! I unanimously play no more than 2 hours at a time then I filch a break !
