Answers: 5 years, just resembling most systems. Even the GC lasted 5 years, and the Wii is more successful than the GC, so it should later at least 5 years, but I would say-so 5 years because you know MS is going to release the next publication of the XBox in 2 or 3 years.
The average console lifetime is 5 years. I believe Wii will last longer than that in the past a "next-gen" console is brought out. Especially because of all the Virtual Console stuff.
At lowest possible until 2012.
Of course the Wii will continue to be contained by stores even after that, just close to the Gamecube still is now, and it's be out since 2001.
It will last atleast 5 years since they will want time to make atleast a wii2 or some type of system that have motion sensor control. The Wii could even last longer next that, but we will never know
