Is my Dance Dance Revolution disc defective or something?

So, a few hours ago, I finally bought DDR for my Wii. I thought it would be fun way to workout while waiting for Wii Fit to finally be released. I am a 28 y r old-fashioned teacher, and only got my Wii contained by November and before this I never be into games at all. Wii holds my attention for a while.
Anyway, so on my DDR, every single time I try to rumba to 1 2 Step, the song comes on but absolutely NO ARROWS MARKERS SCROLL UP MY SCREEN. This happen on all modes for this song... Workout, Groove Circuit etc. I solely get the mitt markers for that song. This does not come to pass with any other song.... so, does that anticipate something is wrong with it? Or is here something I am not understanding?

Answers:    First of adjectives, have you tried going into the "options" and turning the appendage movements off? Is this the just song that happens on?

Even if it happen on all modes, does it also take place on all different "difficulty levels"? I haven't played that fastidious song at the lower difficulty levels "easy" or "basic" for a while, so I'll step check the song out on my DDR and get pay for to you a little subsequently.

Ok, I'm back.

I in recent times played this song on "easy" and it only give hand signals as capably, in certainty, it only give hand signals for the right appendage. Apparently the intent on the "easy" level of this song is to edify you how to do the hand movements next to your wiimote. If you go into "options" on the rudder and then to "hand" and next turn it to "off", and then "confirm" and consequently play the song again, you will only bring back foot arrows intead. You can turn off the "gimmicks" as powerfully. When first learning the winter sport I did this so I could concentrate strictly on following the foot arrows.

So to answer your question, no there's nought wrong with your winter sport disk.

Oh, and when you decide you'd similar to some more variety? I notably recommend going to your local Gamestop and seeing if you can pick up a used copy of an old Gamecube activity called "MC Groovz Dance Craze". I picked up a used copy within for only $9.95. You can use your DDR tap mat to play it, and one thing I really close to is it uses the original version of the songs, covered by the original artists, such as : "Lady Marmalade"--Patti Labelle, "Boogie Wonderland"-- Earth, Wind and Fire, "Irresistable"--Jessica Simpson, "Intuition"--Jewel, "Turn Me On"--Kevin Lyttle, etc. The tap steps also seem to formulate more sense, organized to fit the song in a more logical model.

And Andie? I've already lost almost 15 pounds playing DDR and "MC Groovz" so don't hold your breath waiting for "Wii Fit". Once you reach the greater levels of these games, you won't be need "Wii Fit" to get contained by shape. Enjoy!
return it and get a unsullied pad and fresh game
