PS3 Video Display problem?
Answers: This question is a short time bit out of my league, but I think under the weather take a stab at it! Not sure if it's possible, but at your friends house he/she could enjoy a short in the t.v and the short, triggered a short surrounded by your cables. Orr... your cable may just enjoy a short in them spell. I would try unplugging the system turning the tv off and the ps3 past its sell-by date, and unplugg the AV cables, keep on 10 seconds...plug it adjectives back surrounded by and then try it. Does'nt work? Go procure some new AV cable, I think from playstation they'll dispatch you a new one... free, save they're pretty cheap frommm... maybe walmart?

P.S. my behind the times xbox had that same problem, I asked microsoft and they sent me a foreign: power cord and AV cord and since they're rivals, sony may do that also.

hook the ps3 up to the tv next put it in standby mode after hold down the front power button for about 10 second until you hear beeps. this will reset your ps3 display settings
