if you are going to hardmod the mobile by opening it up and adjectives the pin, the only opening to restore it is by resoldering it. the issue with this is that if you touch another pin when resoldering it, you will short the battery-operated and it wont be good for anything. however, if you desolder the positive and denial connections, then resolder the pin, consequently resolder the + - you will be ok/
but if you are using a slims battery, later all you inevitability to do is cut the connection on the green board, this can consequently be easily resoldered.
if you are softmodding the battery-operated by having someone next to custom firmware pull the eeprom memory, later yes, you can restore it if you saved the eeprom.bin database.
