I got a clean Xbox 360 as my old one is on its 3rd trip to individual repaired from the RRoD and i figured psyche just buy a unsullied one. Well i got the 175w edition of the pro package which features the falcon chip, and the power brick is much different consequently my old 203w brick, the piece that in reality plugs into the X360 is plastic and not metal! Also it doesn't have those two buttons you press when you verbs it out of the system...also it doesn't fit into the Nyko Intercooler EX (its the new newspaper with adjectives the problems fixed) while my older brick did...i'm not sure if adjectives the new ones are close to this or if i just get a crappy brick, and if i did how can i get another one. (i'm using the outmoded 203w brick currently but i'm giving the old system to my brother and i don't expect the 175w brick will work with an outdated system.)
Answers: Well... if it came within an unopened box (that you're sure was official), I suppose thats what they're giving out today. Just because it doesn't fit into your Intercooler it doesn't mean its crap.
The newer 360 probably won't involve an intercooler anyway, provided you keep it surrounded by a well ventilate area and keep hold of the thing on a unyielding surface. Just use the new power brick, it won't slay you, in reality its probably one of the reasons the unknown consoles aren't supposed to overheat and RRoD much anymore. It'd be stupid to risk the new one becoming another RRoD console newly because you don't like the strange brick.
