I own a PS2 model SCPH-70012 and am not getting a red street lamp for power when I plug contained by the power cord. WHY???

PS2 Model #SCPH-70012. No power light, red or green, when the power cord is plugged surrounded by. I have checked the power cords, they are fine, the ashen piece is fine. Seems to be the power board inside of the unit.


Answers:    capably as stupid as this sound i'm not trying to be smart but did you try switching the console on near the switch in the spinal column. The red light is solitary on when you place the console on standby. If it off consequently there isn't any type of oil lamp on. So try and press the switch and see if it work, did you try another outlet as well!?
