I be taking apart my ps2 to fix it and that silver tie that connects the reset and power button come apart?

There is this silver band that connects the reset and friendly tray button, well, it come apart. it did not break, it just come out of its socket. do any of you know where it go, please help!!!

(if your talking more or less the fat ps2) that happen to me , i tried to fix it the other day but no luck for me :-(
its going to be VERY tricky to put it back contained by.
1st you have to steal the black cover off the disc tray, afterwards you take out the disc tray. when you purloin the tray off, you obligation to hold up the whole disc drive and on the right side of the ps2, underneath the disc drive, you will see three small wires(red, white, and i believe the other one is green?) to the left of that you will see a small white socket where on earth that silver thing go in, plug the flex back in-- mind so the color wires dont unplug and a tip: use a tweezer to plug the wire spinal column in

i know its bit confusing but you might know how to fix it.
