I own a questin going on for my xbox 360. facilitate!!?

my router only have 1 ethernet cable slot. it already has the cable for the internet surrounded by it. will xbox live work if i take the cable for the internet out and put the xbox ethernet cable contained by it.

but I assume you have a router (most feasible a gateway) that only have one ethernet cable coming out of it and that cable is currently connected to your pc. If to be exact the case, you can buy a switch to share the signal between the PC and other devices.

Just buy a switch, plug the cable coming out of the router into one of the clean ports, run a second cable from another empty port of the switch to the PC, and a third cable from another unoccupied port of the switch to the back of the 360.
