XBOX 360 Core System Question?

Does anybody know if the Xbox 360 core system is LESS prone to technical issues such as the RROD and such? Because three, yes THREE of my friends hold to Pro sysytem and every one of them has have to either procure it repaired or send it to microsoft. I enjoy the CORE system from 2005, and I have not have a single problem (and the core system seems to run quieter too) ?? I be just wondering. Any replies are appreciated.

THANX!

Answers:    You get one of the better made ones by luck. About a third fail, you must hold got one of the more reliable ones.

Congratulations! I know of a couple of Xbox 360s (Premiums) that haven't ruined yet...! And they be bought on launch, but I also know of a couple that have have to be returned (3 red lights and the other's DVD drive went).

The newer ones (Zephyr with HDMI) and the repaired unit have better cooling installed and some of the even newer ones next to 65nm CPUs run cooler (but for money saving reason have have their heatsinks reduced - I would have preferred the extra cooling to be heatpiped related to the still 90nm GPU, but let's hope these Falcon machines don't need it)!
I bought a core system February of '05 and sent it posterior in June because of the RROD. I get it back surrounded by less than two weeks and it have worked fine ever since.
