Xbox 360, I hear that you cant connect live using a satelite signal nouns because of some 3 second suspension
Answers: xbox live wont recognize satellite ISP's, so you cant use it for anything, not even silver report
Well, you should be able to connect for everything else, such as the souk or downloading stuff. However for gaming against other people, satellite won't cut it.
Your internet nouns is measured in two ways - bandwidth and latency. Bandwidth is glib - that's how many bits per second you download. Latency, equally, is how fast you can bring data to the destination server. Poor bandwidth - such as using a dial-up modem - can increase latency, as can congested exchange cards segments or other things. Online gaming doesn't call for as much bandwidth, but it DOES need low latencies.
A satellite nouns requires that every packet of information you send or receive to turn up to the satellite, then vertebrae down. This is just too slow for most online games.
You've probably experienced this sort of line if you've ever talked to someone long distance and it sort of sounds resembling there's an echo on the file? That's from a satellite connection. If it sounds confusing to you contained by a phone conversation, just envision what it does to a computer! ;-)
