I have be having a problem beside my 360. I have a crappy Sears JSI surround nouns and a 37'' vixio hdtv I have the 360 audio plugged into the tv via hdmi cable and I own the surround sound plugged into the output on my tv. the audio is most other just a tad bit at the back the video. I don't want to buy a new surround nouns.
Answers: The delay is due to your TV have slight lag when processing the digital audio from the HDMI formerly outputting it to your sound (presumably after it converts it to analogue).
