Questions almost my 40GB PS3?

Answers: The PS3 may not run slower, but running out of space will definitley cause problems. You won't know how to save or find anything from the PS Store. It may also effect game updates. If you really have a feeling claustrophobic about the 40gb you can other upgrade the PS3 hard drive near a 2.5" 5400rpm SATA laptop hard drive.
If the PS3 overheats you should see signs of it on peak. The game will most imagined lag (not adjectives lag is cause by overheating, it may be your internet connection if you're playing online), and the PS3 will be extremely hot.
There enjoy been test done on the PS3 while it was running for multiple hours surrounded by a sauna. It still didn't break. Just keep it contained by a well ventilate area (don't move it in a closed or confined space) and it will be fine.
Your PS3 should not slow down once you cram up your gigs, if you do and have no space disappeared, congrats because its hard.
I run my PS3 for 3 days straight and it didn't overheat...definitely doesn't overheat briskly.
You shouldn't put it in a confined place because similar to the Xbox 360 It can melt the soder (typo I beleive) on the chips...of late keep it out within the open.
