Backup PS2 Games?
I hear that if you make a Pefect Copy (1:1, one-to-one) it will conduct yourself like a TRUE game, how can this be done?
If I even would find a chip would it be worth it cuz why own a modded PS2 when I could get a modded PS3 that plays adjectives those games and more, since PS2 is getting obsolete, I can play PS1 games on PSP Via Dark_AleX popstation. I hear sony is threatening modded PS3 owners though, but this if of late for backup and DRM violates my rights as a consumer.
I UNDERSTAND THAT PIRACY IS ILLEGAL AND AM ONLY WANTING TO BACKUP MY OWN GAMES DONT GIVE ME ANY ANWSERS ABOUT "That's illegal" or "dont pirate" backup is court and DRM removes rights!
Or is there a PS2 emualtor for Vista that runs on Dual Core 1.73 MHz, 1 GB bump that will read ISO or DVD in the drive?
Answers: First of adjectives, PS2 games are pressed in a factory. This press can put notes in a special sector, that conventional PC disc writers are unable to read and write. So no issue how exactly you copy the PS2 disc, this special sector will always be missing on your copy. The PS2 however will read this sector, and if it's missing, won't play the hobby until the console was chipped.
Since within is no way (yet) to obtain the PS3 modified to play PS2 or PS3 backups, you're contradicting yourself. You want to copy games, but since the PS2 is non-operational soon, you don't want the PS2 chipped to play the backups?
Anyways: HD mortgage is a great way to play backup from a Harddisc inside the PS2. This will reduce loading times and remodel the life span of the PS2's laser element. It's only available for PS2 and won't work on PS3.
You will involve a credit card to buy it unfortunately. http://www.hdadvance.com/
As for PC emulators: The most compatible emulator is PCSX2 available at the connect below.
However, bear within mind, that this emulator is still a work in progress. A lot of games don't work. Therefore they put up a compatibility enumerate.
Check the list to see if a spectator sport works. If it's not on the list, later it won't work.
Of about 1800 tested games solitary 700 games work so well, that you can finish the team game. And these 700 games include different versions of one spectator sport for europe, USA, japan and so one. So you could say, one and only about 200 personal games work.
A 1:1 copy can only be done beside a special burner, which I'm pretty sure consumers can't get.
Look into HD Advance. You can put games on a sturdy drive and boot from the HD Advance dvd. No modding is required.
There is no way to a short time ago burn a PS2 game and play it, you'll own to get any HD Advance, Swap Magic, or a modchip. I prefer the methods that don't need soldering, but do some research and find the one to be precise best for you.
