Nintendo Wii: Upright or flat?
However, today we've been have disc error issues, and I noticed that the Wii Sports disc have circular scratches. It appears that the scratch were made while the disc be spinning inside the machine. This is exactly what happen with our Xbox 360, and our Oblivion disc. (We have to have it refaced.)
Of course, this doesn't explain the errors, as Happy Feet be pristine.
I still wonder though, whether it is best to lie the appliance down, even though it's marketed as adjectives. Should we lie it down, or should it thing?
(We've been surrounded by contact with support, so we're promising to return it anyway. I'm just checking for presently, and for when it returns all relieved and functional.)
Answers: I'm sure Support is helping you, but here's my two cent's anyways.
Possibility #1: It was a industrial defect where on earth the disk slot is slightly off-line with adjectives it's "guts" causing it to scrape against something inside while spinning.
Possibility #2 (my best guess given what you've told us): Since the scratches appear to only be on Wii Sports, that's probably where on earth the problem started. Some foreign object such as a food grain could have gotten stuck to the disk, next when it was inserted, scratched the lens as okay as the circular scratch on the disk itself. If your lens is doomed to failure, you need to enjoy NOA fix it! DON'T OPEN THE CONSOLE YOURSELF!! You'll void any unsystematic of having them fix it.
If the contraption doesn't work standing up, there's something wrong. Either NOA or your local retailer should fix it for you. You shouldn't have to "compensate" only to get it to work.
The sooner the better......
if you fabrication it down flat, it might make the problem worse and completion up ruining disks even more, I suggest keeping it upright
