Unable to use PS2 wipe beside PC interpretation of FIFA 08?
I have a USB to PS2 adapter that I brought from Play.com. This works fine near any other game, but not near FIFA. The main problem is when I stir into the main menu of the hobby, the pad in recent times keeps scrolling through adjectives of the bars surrounded by the menu at random! If I verbs out the USB adapter it stops. Is there any approach around this?
I have even tried altering the joypad profile which is contained in "user" folder of the team game, but with no luck. Please back. Many thanks surrounded by advance ;)
Answers: I be going to get a PS2 to PC adapter....but found so tons PC joypads on ebay for 99p i bought a couple, so for two pounds I have PS2 replica joypads that work clearly and are USB which means PC will enjoy no trouble with them :-))
To cause it clear, is that a PlayStation2 (PS2) Analog Controller to USB adaptor?
And does this adaptor support two PS2 Analog Controllers?
If both are true, try this, it worked fine for me
1. Go to Control Panel --> System if you are using the Classic View -or- Go to Control Panel --> Performance and Maintenance --> System
2. Click the Hardware tab then click on Device Manager
3. If you have adaptor properly installed (that includes drivers), then a Human Interface Devices bookmark should be lower than your computer devices.
4. Under the Human Interface Devices bookmark therewould be two (2) HID-compliant game controller option.
5. Choose one (1) and disable the other. It can be disabled by right-clicking on the said controller and selecting Disable
6. One of jacks/connectors of your PS2 Analog Controller to USB adaptor would not be working hence this is the one you disabled. Therefore, put your PS2 Analog Controller on the other
7. Start FIFA 08 and you will observe that the expression menu would not scroll and thus the main menu would not also
