Answers: Grab at lowest possible a 32 inch tv. Make sure it can take component cable and buy a component cable for your Wii. The component cable sold by Nintendo is fine enough or any other cable that costs $20. Anything that costs more is not worth it and you won't consideration a difference. The only drive I and another guy recommend at least a 32 inch because any smaller and it is really thorny to see with multiple family playing at once and for split-screen multiplayer games like DBZ budokai tenkaichi 3.
32" screen with a minimum 720p projection (anything difficult won't matter for Wii) starts around $500.
Don't go and get 480i for the following reasons:
1. Fancy style of saying it is not an HDtv
2. This format will no longer be supported for cable come subsequent year.
3. You will not get the best display out of your Wii and any adjectives system you'll consider.
It is hard for me to recommend a specific brand because respectively person have their idea of the spotless picture. Go to a store and look at the different screens and find the one you ponder looks great. From that point leave and start probing for the best price for that tv.
