I hav no idea why it doesnt power up. is at hand any reason, could it be the power supply of the ps2. and FYI i cant buy another 1


Answers:    I enjoy 2 ideas:
1. Your mobile inside your PS2 blew out and you need to take a new one.
2. Your power cable is broken, any part of the flex or the box.

Did you change the battery lately?
If you have check and bring in sure you have them surrounded by correctly, if you haven't then I would try varying the batteries.
