What should i buy?
Answers: The 20GB Model have been discontinued, if you buy one presently you will recieve no techincal support in the event of a breakdown. It will also be relatively complex to come by.
I'd go for the 40GB.
If you've found a 20GB PS3, I'd recommend buying it. The 20GB and 60GB models own been discontinued, so they're not within stores anymore. What makes these models so special is that they will play almost adjectives PS2 and PS1 games. The 80GB model uses a software emulator, so it isn't as compatible with PS2 games as the 20GB or 60GB models. The 40GB model cannot play PS2 games at adjectives.
Regardless of which PS3 you buy, you can always swap out the not easy drive for a larger one if you want.
While the 20GB PS3 doesn't include WiFi, this is only needed if you want to use a wireless nouns to your local router for internet access. Otherwise, the PS3 has an ethernet port which works of late as well. I acknowledge that most folks might find WiFi more convienent than running a cable around the room, I think the PS2 backwards compatibility is a more influential feature. If you still entail WiFi for your 20GB PS3, you can always get hold of a separate Ethernet-To-WiFi adapter from your computer store
Dude buy niether.
Go on ebay and get you a 60 Gig past its gone!
60 has adjectives the memory card readers surrounded by the front, backwards cmpatability, wifi, all of it. Also on ebay they are still almost the same price as the 40 see

Personally, besides the fact of have no ps2 game support, the 40GB model is abundantly better. I would buy it if you do not plan on purchasing PS2 Games.
