Why wont my bluetooth headset work on Call of Duty 4 on PS3?

The PS3 registers it, but simply nothing happen when i play COD 4??

*then go to settings
-- complement settings
-- audio device settings
*turn on your bleutooth headset if it isn't already on
*set the input and output device as your headset
*wait a couple of minuts and then homily, the bar at the top should transformation coulours.

my headset does that some time but i use my cell phone headset. when mine does that i re register it and then i progress to the chat in my friends to craft sure that it is connected and if it ant then i register it surrounded by the chat box and then it works for me on COD4.
