is it true that you can play nintendo ds games for the wii? if so, then how?

Answers:    Well, here is the NIntendo Channel, which allows you to send demos of DS games from your Wii wirelessly to the DS, and some games communicate near the Wii and DS together (Pokemon Battle Revolution, for example) but you can't play DS games on the wii itself.
