Is Gta iv (4) really freezing?
So my question are:
1) Is Gta iv really freezing?
2) If it is, than should I buy it or is it too risky?
3) I am living in the middle east, so I was thinking if I should buy it, than where on earth? Because my friend has Gta iv and he's having no problems, but he get it from over here. So, should I get it from the U.S or Qatar (middle east)?
4) If you think that I shouldn't return with Gta iv, which other game is LIKE grand stealing auto or is better?
Please give your opinions too if you enjoy Gta iv!
Help me, I'm confused because I don't want to waste my 50 bucks!
Answers: The problem with GTA IV on the PS3 is individual with the 60GB models from launch, and only a fraction of them. There are no particular problems playing the game on any other model PS3. I had one of the launch 60s that kept freezing during gameplay, and they replaced it for me at no charge, even though the warranty have run out long ago. Go ahead and buy it. My brother has the 40Gb model and has never have a problem playing the game.
I have it on PS3. It does not come across to have any problems. I think that in attendance is also a patch for the freezing problem. I think that you should buy it here in the U.S. There might also be trophies if this article contained by the link is to be believed. I've had it on the 60GB since it come out. It never froze on me. And if I'm not mistaken Rockstar released an update for the game fixing most of those issues. Still, personal experience it's never froze on me with 30 hours of spectator sport play.
1. yes
2. what's risky? just restart the console and your good.
3. how should I know?
4. saints row two will be better, but that isn't out on the other hand.
40GB has far fewer problems because it have less features. I have no issues near mine and i play hours at a time. I have it on ps3 and it never causes me any problems
