Can i hook up a nouns system to my HDTV through run of the mill scarts and not HDMI?

basically my foreign hdtv has merely 1 HDMI port which will be used for the PS3 and i want to hook up some kind of nouns system to it but it will have to be done usually not through a HDMI port..basically i want to know will i know how to do this and be able to use the nouns system when playing my PS3 in HD?

Answers:    This is what I other do. Just hook all your components, PS3, DVD, etc to your tv. Your tv should own an audio out. Just run that to your "sound system" and your apposite to go. Whatever's on your tv will be playing through your nouns system.. You may have to modification the audio output settings on your tv's menu.
i havent gotten a ps3 yet... waiting for GTA IV... but i believe that the ps3 have an optical output for the audio.. you can connect the optical out to the sound system for the best nouns....

also... you can buy a hdmi switch to increase the amount of hdmi inputs your tv has.

some stereo receiver have hdmi inputs and outputs, so you could transport hdmi to the receiver later to the tv..
