How do I stop my Philips DVD player turning itself rotten automatically?

I have a Philips DVP5960. When on time away for more than 15 minutes or so, it automatically turns itself off, which can be severely frustrating, as I have to nouns the DVD again and find the position I was at contained by the film or programme.
How do I stop it turning itself sour? There's nothing surrounded by the on-screen menus or in the user guide. Any oblige would be appreciated.
