Is 500 Watts (RMS) loud adequate?

I purchased a Home theatre system for my home room and it says 1000W total output and 500Watts RMS. My family circle room size is approx. 15.10 x 18 = 271 sq ft is this loud enough to fit this room?

Answers:    EXCELLENT QUESTION!

Its not a situation of "loudness" its a matter of clarity AND punch when the accomplishment gets busy contained by a movie. You will rarely ever hear every one of those 500 watts within action.

The best amp holds power within reserve (in large capacitors) for when a dense signal come at it (like a big behaviour sequence) and standard amps (like those found in most all-in-one home theater systems) rely strictly on wattage.

THE ANSWER IS MOST LIKELY: YES, beside these kind of wattage numbers you own enough power to hear things as loudly as you would ever want to.

Now stir and ENJOY IT!
ya if you want to blow your ears out!
