Is is ok to put non-shielded speakers subsequent to a projection t.v.? I know next to crt tvs you couldn't.?

I have a jvc av-48wp30 projection tv and want to place a sub-woofer astern it.

Answers:    You shouldn't face any problems near the subwoofer since most of them are shielded. LCD/DLP rear projection TV can be soundly kept close to it however make sure that your backside projection is not crt type.
You should be ok. Most powered sub for home theater systems are shielded.
