I made a video with window movie maker, as a christmas present for my friends. I made it an automovie and adjectives it to a dvd+r 8x cd. I put it into the dvd player, and it will not play in eigther one of my dvd players. Please assist?

One possibility is that the players don't like DVD+R (DVD-R is more standard).
It's also possible you didn't format as a DVD. Players expect a indubitable structure including two folders named Audio_TS and Video_TS, and the use of VOB, IFO, etc. format files.
