Sound trouble on a handful of HD channel?

Ok, I have an HD tv and a surround nouns system. I have connected the 2 using my optical audio cable which I just purchased. For the most division, the channels nouns pretty great with this setup. But near a handful of my HD channels, it is incredibly difficult to hear spoken dialogue. The deeper sounds and background music and stuff come through a short time ago fine, but I can barely hear when population speak. The only point I've been competent to do is turn the volume up on the TV, and use this in conjunction beside the surround system to hear everything on these few stations where this problem exists. Has anyone have this happen or know what could be the result in of this? Any recommendations to fix the problem? Thanks!

Answers:    If you enjoy a 5.1 surround set up and a receiver, you should be capable of access the level output for the center gutter on your receiver. Increase the volume on the center subway which is where most of the dialog comes from. Good luck
