Which is better blu streak or hd dvd?

i would go for blu shaft of light but thats because i have a ps3.

Both formats are Hi Def,proffer 1080p output and 7.1 surround sound.

The decide factors will be Capacity and Support.

Capacity - HD DVD can hold up to 25gb. Blu Ray can hold 50gb, but have the potential to hold up to 200gb.

Manufactures support for Blu Ray - Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, Phillips, Pioneer, LG, Sharp, JVC, Hitachi.

Manufactures support for HD DVD - Toshiba, XBox 360

6 of the 8 main Studios support Blu Ray. The final 'biggie' Warner Bros. did a complete U turn last week and announced they be changing their support to Blu Ray.

Note : The world's biggest Rental secure, Blockbuster, only support Blu Ray.

Go into your local HMV, Virgin Megastore and enjoy a look at the space dedicated to Blu Ray surrounded by comparison to HD DVD.

Blu Ray seem to be winning the HD combat but in jargon of quality HD DVD seem to be the better, but only freshly.
