Can't get hold of nouns from my TV to move about though my Philips HTS 3154 home cinema any concept?

We can get nouns from the system when playing a DVD but if we change to the source TV from the crucial unit to hear the TV through the surround nouns system it just make white noise resembling a radio station not tuned in. Our TV is a Phillips 42PF7621D/10. Any planning what we have done wrong?

Answers:    Try the simple things first. Verify you own the TV connected properly using the TVs audio outputs. Go behind your TV and in reality look to be sure you have your cable connected from the output of the tv to the input on your home theater receiver.
If i.e. correct verify you have the audio outputs turned "on" through the menu of your tv. . On some tvs you hold to turn on these outputs (you may or may not have this option). Also variety sure you have the volume disabled for the outputs. Some TVs can control the volume horizontal of those outputs as well. So if you turn down or mute your TV you also appendage up turning down or muting the audio output as well.
You may enjoy a selection surrounded by your menu under the audio cubicle that will read something like "external speaker volume" or "external speaker control". You may own to select "NO". If all else fail go vertebrae and re-read the manual. It is possible the slice is short and easy to overlook. Hope this help.
