Blu streak and hd dvd players?

are blu ray/ other hd players really worth all the money. i hold a 43 inch high def tv and i i obligation to know. also can anyone recomend a good dvd player that plays hd and a righteous one that plays regular ones that is cheap

Answers:    For the money right very soon the Toshiba A3O HD DVD would be your best bet. It's a 1080p HD player that does a great job of up-converting regular DVDs as capably and if you shop it on Amazon you can find it for around $180.00, which is less than my wife rewarded for my up-converting DVD player. There is definitely a big difference between a standard 480p DVD and an HD DVD at 1080p, eye popping even. Visit a Best Buy and check out the HD or Blu-ray on display, they are equally gleaming.
Well honestly, it depends on your eyesight and how anal you are about picture characteristic...

Go to a store and ask to see HD running side by side with regular. If you contemplate the difference is worth the money, then stir for it.

Also, to appreciate the HD on a 46 inch screen, you probably can't be further than 5 to 6 foot away from the screen.
