A DVD set I want to buy only comes within formats 2 and 4. (The US is region 1, I think.) I requirement to buy a new DVD player anyway because the prehistoric one is starting to have troubles. Are in attendance DVD players available that play more than one regions' DVD's? I found ways to program your existing DVD player but the one I have is too hoary to be compatable I am sure, and I hate to twitch around and ruin a brand new one. Putting contained by a code that may or may not work makes me frightened. Any suggestions?
Answers: buy an old computer beside a dvd-rom drive, change the region to 2, download a dvd player for the notebook and attach to you monitor, or if you have a plasma/lcd tv, hook it up to that.
