Denon addressee - Stereo modes?
If I connect a compact disc player by analogue inputs to the receiver, I think through that 'Direct' simply acts as an amplifier mode and nouns is the best (pure). I want to know what exactly happens if I use 'Stereo' mode for this ? Since the signal individual input is already stereo, what does this do? When is the Stereo mode useful ? What are the differences surrounded by the two modes if the Stereo mode being used is beside the tone controls off ?
(There are other modes too approaching 'Virtual', '5Ch/7Ch Stereo', DTS, 'Matrix' but I have no question about these. I appreciate them.)
Answers: Your close, but still a little stale.
Direct stops the use of setting you have setup surrounded by your receive. It Can use your digital and or analog inputs.
When you select stereo (even if it sounds the same) it is different. This simply send adjectives information to the front two channels. One must remember that you can play a 5.1 Digital signal within stereo mode. Why would be the question that comes to my mine, (but to respectively his own).
When you play a stereo signal in stereo mode, Your system will use the setting within it's memory and send the audio to the front two Channels.
I hope this help. If you have any question. Drop me a line.
