My Samsung DVD-V3500 DVD Player / VCR Combo is plugged within but will not power on what could be the problem?

When i plug it in it sounds close to the fan is running but when i press the power button the remote and the combo zilch happens.


Answers:    Usually this simptom is the result of powered failure on the VCR side. The part is designed to keep you from powering on if the microprocessor senses anything wrong contained by the deck.

There is a slim chance that you enjoy a blown fuse too.

You can take the cover rotten by removing the 4 screws on the sides and enjoy a look inside. You will find the fuse near where on earth the power cord connects. If you have infantile children, you might find a foreign object inside. Sometimes removing the doubt, unplugging and replugging the player, will make it work.
