Getting a unusual HDTV, interrogate roughly audio hookups..?

I am getting a new HDTV. Right presently I have a Sony heir and it is a few years old. I be wondering if I can hook all the audio and video up directly to the tv and later somehow get it to run to my addressee. I dont want to have to run the video to the tv and later stretch the audio cables to my addressee, is it possible to run one audio line from the tv to the beneficiary??

Answers:    You are suppose to connect all video and audio to your AV heir. Then, have one or two video cable run from your receiver to your TV. Your beneficiary is suppose to be do the switching, not your TV.

There are some HDTV's that have digital audio out that you can run wager on to your AV receiver.
Ask the sale person if the TV have an audio output. Most do, some don't. Make sure it has one. If your addressee accepts optical inputs try and find one next to an optical output. If not, the red and white rca output will still sound right.
