Blu-Ray player cross-examine.?

My dad owns a Sharp BD-HD20U Blu-ray Disc Player. It is programed to "Input6". Once, when I chose "Input6", nothing happen. No picture, no sound, no zilch! This has never happen before! HELP! HELP!! HELP!

Answers:    First check to see if wires are connected. 2 On my plasma I enjoy input 1,2 and 3 and hdmi 1,2 and 3 so just double check adjectives the inputs maybe he swtiched it.
Is the player on?

Cycle the power on the BluRay player and the TV. If you are hooked up next to HDMI - there are occasional hickups surrounded by the handshaking.

The Blu Ray players (and HD players as well) are notorious for taking 30-60 second to 'come alive' so give it time.
