I know that most home audio receivers are 8 ohms, economically I have a dual voice coil sub and respectively is rated at 4 ohms, so if I telecommunication it to 8 ohms like this -

course if the connections are thier. lots of amps hold a 4or 8 ohm switch look for one. And can run 4 just fine. i consider its series that makes it an 8 ohm speaker
