Help near Blu gleam disc Player plzz?

Does a blu ray disc player inevitability a hdtv 1080 p to play high def blu beam discs? Or will a blu ray player play blu beam discs on a normal box?

Yeah but it's not really worth it unelss you enjoy a HDTV, even it is not 1080p, other resolutions like 1080i or 720p will look great.

On a small sized standard definition tv it won't look any better consequently a standard DVD.
