The 5.1 surround nouns on my HD comcast box isn't working. I NEED HELP!?
Answers: Which Comcast box do you have? If it's a Motorola, you may stipulation to do some menu setting. For no apparently good explanation, the A/V menu is well unobserved on these boxes. To find it, you must hit these two commands inside seconds of respectively other:
POWER OFF
MENU
This doesn't always work from the remote, but will work from the front panel buttons. This will bring you to the "service menu", where on earth you can tell the Moto box give or take a few your setup. You should be able to integer it out from there.
Ok, from what you explained i dont see how you grasp anysound out of the comcast box except from the tv. I say this because you own the tv connected to the comcast and the DVD HTIB connected to the TV. There is nothing connecting the HTIB to the comcast box. For surround nouns you would have to connect any an optical cable or a digital coax in demand to get surround nouns from the cable box. If you are getting any sound it is probably because you connected the rca stereo cable from the cable box to the HTIB.
Lastly if you are getting stereo sound out of the cable box on the HTIB at hand should be a setting for pro logic. that should give you pseudo surround nouns from the cable box. For some HTIBs that is the solitary surround sound you can catch.
