Should I buy a Blu Ray or HD DVD player?
Answers: Go for Blu Ray. The answer come out a few days ago when Warner Brothers decided that it would progress the way of Blu Ray. Warner Brothers sell more DVD movies than any other entertainment label......if the elephant desires to go Blu Ray, after the rest of the industry will have to follow.
Check out the source below for the convincer of the other name alligning with Blu Ray.
--edited-- I don't know which bozo have been voting thumbs-down for oodles of the Blu-Ray responses...but they should read the valid reasons as to why Blu-ray is ahead and will win. Warner Bros (the biggest DVD seller) recently chose Blu-Ray...coupled near the fact that Sony's coup next to the PS3 helped convince plentifully of gamers to go Blu-Ray as all right....it was approaching a foot in the door. Considering Sony lost the Beta/VHS period of war....this time around they got a bit more smart about it. :) But unquestionably, having Warner Brothers on the bus is the convincer of which direction the technology will go.

I asked myself the same quiz this Christmas when trying to decide which one to buy for my boyfriend. I go with the HD DVD for several reason.
1. They're waaay cheaper.
2. HD DVD is made by the same DVD company, which have been around for forever and isn't going anywhere. Where the F did Blueray come from anyway? They could run under resembling tomorrow.
3. I got 10 free HD DVD's beside the HD DVD player off Amazon!
Caution: This is coming from a GIRL who know nothing in the region of what all you techno. guys appear hung up on.
P.S. HE LOVED IT!!
If you want to be able to experience the best of both you can buy the Samsung BD-UP5000 Blu-ray/HD DVD Player . It plays BOTH Blu Ray AND BD ... but it costs in the region of $800
