I picked up an old cult 3M overhead projector at an auction. I would like to show some of my ancient family photos on the wall near it at a family reunion as powerfully as some old childhood drawings on construction broadsheet that are done with crayon. Can you describe me how to run this machine so it shows up on a wall. Thanks!!
Answers:
Overhead projectors requirement transparencies. You can't project opaque things close to photos or construction paper. If you run to a place like staples, they can scan and print them onto overhead transparency sheets.
My parents own one of these....I'm assuming that you want to show old slides? If so, the best bet is to obtain a projector screen and projection bulbs from ebay and you should be adjectives set...!
FYI - My parent projector is over 40 years old and still works wonderfully.....Kenmore, if I'm not mistaken.
