How to find invisible speaker wires within walls?

Just moved into home. Got the media room pre wired for surround and backside speakers. Need to dig out the wires from aft the wall. What is the easiest way lacking having to do much lay waste to to walls?

Answers:    Assuming you have access to at tiniest one end of the speaker line:

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a Cable Tracker & Toner Set.

The Wire toner is a two piece device, one piece generates an audible tone, you clip this onto the exposed lead end. The other piece have a very sensitive tone reciever that you hold over the wall until you hear the tone.

You follow the tone to the cease of the wire and consequently cut a small hole and try to fish out the wires.

Whoever ran the wires should own installed junction boxes at the line ends, then the dry wallers would enjoy left the box opening exposed for you.
You might need to take into your attic to find the wires. if not at hand are wire detectors out nearby. just connect 1 closing stages to a battery and it will exact the wire to walk live.... and the detector will pick it up
