Why don't the words don't vein up beside the mouths on some non-HD channel?

I have a Sharp Aquos TV, a Harmon Kardon beneficiary, and a Dish Network HD satelite box. The satelite box is connected to the receiver next to an HDMI cable, then is passed through to the TV. On copious of the non-HD channels, the words don't rank up with the mouths. Is near a way to fix this? It's really anoying!

Answers:    If you own a harman kardon reciever, on your remote it should have a button that say Delay, its referring to the A/V Sync Delay option you enjoy for tv's that process images slower than the audio comes through. It should allow you to obstruction or increase the response time (by milliseconds) for the audio so it can sync up with the video
are you axiom the audio is out of synchronization with the video ("the words don't queue up with the mouths")? anything happened to upright ol' SMPTE timecode?
