Do anyone know of any rememdies on repairing a DVD?
Answers: The gash repair stuff you buy in the stores is for terrifically light scratch. If your scratch is a bit deep your better way out is to hunt around a bit for a commerical DVD repair shop. There are outfits that can run a machine that will fix fairly deep scratch on disks. I've had it done to some thoroughly badly scratched disks beside pretty good results. Often video rental shops own these machines. Otherwise, look in the Yellow Pages lower than DVDs and call around first to go and get at least three quotes for the cost to determine if the disk is worth repairing versus buying a replacement. I can't recommend that you use toothpaste; it's for cleaning teeth remember.
