15 pin vga versus dvi nouns?
I enjoy a home theater PC that has both dvi and vga output ports. I just have a VGA cable for it right presently.
I know vga is analog and dvi is digital and offers "no distortion", but will I reallt see any significant difference if I upgrade to a dvi cable? The distance is in the region of 10' to my htpc
Answers: Hi.There is no straightforward answer to your question.Digital does not other imply better representation quality within the case of a video nouns. There are significant differences in the course digital and analogue signals are handled that are heavily dependent upon the characteristics of the source device and the display to some extent than on the type of video connection .The crucial problem is that you never know what is going on inside consumer equipment and how the different signals are being processed, scale, decoded, etc . This applies irrespective of whether we are dealing near pure analogue, analogue and digital ,or with pure digital. There is also the problem of equipment settings and system calibration. Improper settings would not backing in producing the best results while different settings on different inputs will head to different system response to the same signal when applied across different inputs.
